Christmas is Coming

Hey there pards, Mike the Mole here again with some fine news for the Quinton Cowboys. Come the December shoot, the Delaware Blues Range Club will be providing lunch for free. That's right, it will cost you nada! It is their way of saying 'thanks' to the Cowboys for your continued support and for answering the call to round up some new shooters. They were quite appreciative of your efforts. Here's what's fixin': Louisiana style jambalaya, served in a bowl with some French bread, soft drinks, including fresh coffee, and a special "thank you" dessert. Jambalaya will be loaded with Andouille sausage, smoked chicken, shrimp, rice, lots of veggies in tomato sauce. There'll be plenty, so come back for more!

Now you'll know for sure

The Mole Hole Cowboy Restaurant will sport a fancy wooden sign (handcarved by Rico for the Mole) at the next shoot. Do drop by and admire it when you come for lunch.

November 8, 2009 Quinton Cowboys

Hey there Pards,
Got that first one under my belt but I owe ya'll an apology. I promise there will be plenty of food next time. I was a little overwhelmed by the turnout ( and there were a few visitors, by the way) and the beverage selection will be larger, including some iced-tea, diet soda and hot coffee. Come November 8, we'll be serving up plenty of El Diablo chicken, which is hot and spicy shredded chicken on a roll, some 7 day cole slaw, sweet potato casserole, pickles and soft drink for the aforementioned $5. After all the hungry cowboys are served, second plates will be available for a mesely $2. Look forward to the December shoot...that one is on The Mole! That's right! As my way of thanking the Quinton Cowboys, the December 13th lunch is on me! Start praying there will be no snow so that the chuckwagon can make it down that path! See ya'll on the 8th of November!

Future Lunch Events

Hey all,
Lookin' to make another fancy, fall type lunch dish for ya'll come the November shoot. Lookin' at my famous El Diablo chicken dish, served on a roll or not, with some seven-day cole slaw, some yummy sweet potoato casserole, with a dessert to be named later. Drink included, of course! Also pards, if ya have any hankerin' for your gastro cravins (that's anything special you'd like), please let The Mole know. How's Cowboy Stew sound for the cold shoot in December? Keep in touch and keep checkin' this here sign board. Lookin' forward to October 11, 2009.

Lagniappe, as they say in Nawlins

Had another idea, pards. We're gonna fix up another extra, somethin' called "Texas Caviar".  Don't get yer feathers ruffled... ain't no fish eggs in this here dish. Just something to git another hitch in yer giddyup...and they say it's good fer ya! So add that onto the platter, okay? (Same price, too. Hell of a deal.)

Greetings from the cook

Howdy pardners, just wanted to introduce myself and welcome you to the Mole Hole Cowboy Restaurant, soon to park the chuckwagon at the Quinton cowboy shoot on October 11, 2009. They call me 'Mike the Mole' fer a number of reasons, I reckon. That sheriff in Yuma didn't take too kindly to me smilin' at his woman; worse when she smiled back! Anyway, I figgered it was better to leave town before it got ugly; he knows my God-given name and might still be lookin' fer me, so I just became 'Mole'. Heh-heh, don't think he'd believe his woman would ever fancy somebody named Mole.
Hope you cowboys check out our opening-day vittles, sure to please even the toughest gunslinger. It'll only set you back $5 in U.S. currency, but I'll accept gold or silver if ya got it! No credit cards, though; they haven't been invented yet. I'll be driving the chuckwagon with my pardner Rico... He rides shotgun with me on the drive from Philadelphia. Hope to see ya'll on the 11th, bring your appetite. And good shootin'!
